Sika – Sound Journeys in a Treehouse
Sep 3 @ 10:30 am - 9:30 pm
All day workshop with Sika, followed by an evening Sound Journey.
One of Beaulieu’s best kept secrets, the Tree House is a purpose built gathering place half way up the massive oak trees in the middlw of Hartford Wood. We will bathe in the glorious tree-chi whilst being imbued with Sika’s sacred sounds. Wonder-full.
Join Sika for an intimate experience of primordial sound journeying.
Imagine for a moment…
A bunch of leaves whooshing through the sage infused air. A didjeridoo spiralling about the sacred space. The sound of the bullroarer opens a portal. Rocks, shells and feathers entice you further in. A Porotiti spins healing energy into your body. The heartbeat on a horse skin drum entrances your mind.
You leave time as you know it…
This is a very special intimate venue and only holds just 60 people.
Last year we sold out very fast so, my advice is to book early to avoid disappointment!
Sika will play intuitively; sensing into the energy of the space using his collection of natural instruments, which include: didjeridoo, drums, native flutes, rattles, leaves, stones, shells, bones and maori taonga puoro. Sika’s voice and breath also play a vital role in this powerful, shamanic exploration. He also moves around the room, so you may feel a swoosh of air on your skin or the vibration of a didjeridoo above your body.
With his gently powerful presence, Sika creates a safe space to journey inward.
Everyone is welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and cushion to lie or sit on. Also a refillable water container and lidded tea cup. More information will be revealed after booking.
Daytime Workshop 10.30am – 4.30pm
This workshop offers a series of shorter Sound Journeys, each one followed by time to drop into a deeply surrendered and relaxed state of being. Throughout the day, we will both lie down and absorb the sound medicine, then sit in circle and share our individual experiences. We’ll take the time to listen to our feelings and needs. In a gentle and loving way we’ll process the shifts that arise from the Sound Journey.
There are just 30 places for this extraordinary opportunity.
Please bring food to share for lunch.
Evening Sound Journey 7.30pm – 9.30pm
After the day workshop has ended, this incredible space will be the scene for a whole evening of Sound Journeying with Sika. Amidst this ancient Tree House, deep with the elements of the New Forest, we will dream and vision to sounds, in a timeless journey. Profoundly magical.
Workshop tickets are separate from evening tickets; there is a one price ticket for both events if you wish.
PLEASE NOTE: *Tickets are non-refundable* – unless under extreme circumstances.
Please read our ‘Terms and Conditions’ on the dropdown menu for further details here
