This is an intense weekend workshop, come prepared with good qi to support your learning, along with a notebook.

This exceptional form offers you inner fortitude, clarity and space to Be. You will feel more relaxed and be able to sleep well and deal with life in it’s many forms.
There is a reduced price for people who have already learnt this sequence.
Yoga practitioners love this form, as do martial artists and acupuncturists, shiatsu, reiki practitioners plus meditation and other complimentary therapy advocates.
Clara has achieved the requisite 100+ consecutive days practise of the Primordial Qigong form that grants her permission to share with others, plus she has been authorised by Master Cohen to teach Primordial Qigong in its entirety.
There is an integration day on October 27, at the same venue, to run the form together and add fine details see here for more information.
“I have practised yoga extensively over the last 43 years, but have never qigong until yesterday, it was my very first initiation into qigong. Clara has been teaching for 20 years and that shows, as she has great depth of knowledge and authority in the subject. She teaches very clearly, explaining all the movements but also all the benefits of each move. Clara made sure we were all doing the movements correctly to get the maximum benefit. The day became more and more relaxing as I learned to stop striving and just flow with the sequence. It has a magical effect too, my energy felt very clear and peaceful by the end of the day. Thank you Clara for teaching us so much in such a short time. I am very much looking forward to the next workshop!”

“The Primordial Qigong set has a special place in my soul as it became my companion as I lived alone in some very out of the way places. As I committed to the 100 day practice, I found Qigong revealed my ‘home’ on the inside. The stillness and movement, storage and release tenet calls me to daily self-care.”
HOW I WAS CALLED TO QIGONG
Loving movement exercise from a young age, I did ballet from 5-21, I instantly recognised the feeling of graceful movements when introduced to qigong. In the 1990’s I’d already had two episodes of burnout, running a busy costume design business and bringing up my son as an independant Mum in NW London. I was looking for ways I could heal myself and was drawn to natural energy medicine. My previous training was as a Registered Nurse. Here the focus on disease management was only one side of the healthcare coin. I was curious about ways of preventative healthcare, still am. Personal research took me through Homeopathy to EFT, Reiki, Aromatherapy Massage, Nutrition, Acupuncture, Shiatsu and CranialSacral therapy. I was searching for a way to take care of myself as well as appreciating treatements and teachings. When a parent of one on my lads friends, offered to introduce me to Chi Kung/Qigong I was intrigued and went along. Ged Sumner is a co-founder of the London College of Elemental Chi Kung, with Thalbert Allen, where I subsequently trained for 4 years. I am now a student of Qigong Grand Master Ken Cohen.
I was hooked by the end of the first session, by the innate recognition of flow and expression, although the tension patterns in my arms shoulders and lower back took years to fully unwind, I instantly felt so much better on the inside. My sleep became deeper and more nourishing. Stress levels became manageable and prioritising the time for my space had a strong sustaining effect on both my physicality and psyche. Work still in progress.
Fast forward to now, where I live in and around the New Forest, managing the succesful Conscious Living Events company, sharing qigong teachings and creating ‘Chi Time’ interview shows. I now have a place to call home after 4 years of living ‘Home-Free’. This time was not without its challenges – understatement – but my qigong and meditation practice gave me ninja-style aptitude and organising abilites, the big one is assigning time for self care. This is where I can help with practical suggestions and key movements and meditations.
